For Amarnath Yatra registration, you will need -

• A mobile no.
• A passport size photo in .jpg format (File Size below 1mb)
• A *medical fitness certificate in .pdf format (File Size below 1mb), and 
• A registration fee of Rs. 100

How to get a *Medical fitness Certificate for Amarnath Yatra registration-

You can only get the required medical fitness certificate for this journey from the doctors listed by Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.  Certificate issued by other doctors will not be useful.

Age restriction for Amarnath Yatra registration:

You must be between 13 and 75 years of age to travel.

Amarnath Yatra Registration Process:

First we have to go to the official website of Amarnath yatra Online Registration

http://www.shriamarnathjishrine.com.  Under 'What's New' you will first get the option of 'Online registration'. 

If you click there, you will get three options -'Login', 'Register', and 'Make Payment'.  

First you need to register.  After clicking on the 'Register' option, you will get some instructions. Read them well.  

Here you tick 'I agree', click 'Register'.  Now you will go to the next page.

Here you have to decide which route you want to travel by 'Baltal' or 'Pahelgam'.  You choose your choice, then select the day of your journey and check the availability.  At present, a maximum of 250 people are allowed to travel in one day.  If for some reason the journey is full on that day, you have to select another day.  Then you need to give some general information about yourself like your name, father's or husband's name, gender, mobile number, state and district.  Then in the 'kins' option you have to put the name of a relative.  It could be your father, mother, husband or wife.  Then you have to inform your blood group and address.  When writing an address, keep in mind that you cannot use any special characters, use numbers and alphabets only.

Then you have to give the details of your medical certificate.  Fill in one by one the name of the state, the district, the name of the hospital, the name of the doctor.  Then click on 'choose file' and attach the photo and medical certificate and at the end put the date of your medical certificate.  Then tick the checkbox at the bottom and submit the form after writing the captcha text.  

After submitting, you will go to the next page and an OTP will be sent to your mobile.  After typing this OTP and pressing submit, your application will go to processing.

Then you need to verify your application again in the next page.  You will get the application number in the SMS that came to you earlier.  Fill up the application number, mobile number and captcha and click on 'Send OTP'.  Then enter the 'OTP' came on your mobile in the box on the next page and submit.  

Pay registration fee:

After a while, your application will be verified.  You will need to make a payment once the application for Amarnath Yatra registration is verified.  To make a payment you can go to the make payment option from the home page or you can also go to the download permit option.  Here you have to fill in your application number, mobile number and captcha and click on 'Proceed to payment' option.  On the next page, fill in the captcha again, verify your details and click on 'Pay Online'.  Now you will go to the payment portal.  From here you can pay by debit card, credit card or any other medium of your choice.  Once the payment is successful, you will receive an acknowledgment from where you can download your permit. 

About permit:

The permit will contain three parts , one for taking a sim card if you take one after reaching Kashmir, other is to keep with you during the journey and the third one is for submitting in the entrance.

Keep in mind that It is mandatory to keep a photo ID proof (Votter or Aadhar ID Card) , the original medical fitness certificate and the permit with you during the journey.

Alternative ways for registration:
